First Community Bank History
The bank opened for business on August 4, 1997, at 710 St. Louis Street in Batesville, Arkansas, with 14 employees and $3.5 million in capital. Through local decision-making and a genuine interest in the financial well-being of the communities served, it soon became a bank known for putting customers and community first. Until December 2019, when the bank expanded to Northern Arkansas where a full-service banking center opened in Harrison, bringing the total number of branches to 27.
